NW Camo offers you a number of choices for blind markers. We started making these to help transition dogs from having a white polyvinyl fence stake as a target to having no easily visible target. We still wanted a target that the handler could see.
These blind markers are made from a polyvinyl fence stake which is covered by camo and solid color cordura fabric which is sewn to fit over the pole.
The short and medium covers are available with the cover attached to the stake, as well as just the cover only. The tall pole covers are available both with the pole and the cover only. The poles for the tall covers are listed separately.
We offer three heights to allow you to choose a target appropriate to the height of the cover.
- Short Blind Markers - The polyvinyl fence stake is cut down to about 15 inches and covered with the desired cordura fabric. The fabric cover is secured to the polyvinyl stake with a stainless-steel screw to keep you from losing the cover.
- Medium Blind Markers - The polyvinyl fence stake is cut down to about 26 inches and covered with the desired cordura fabric. The fabric cover is secured to the polyvinyl stake with a stainless-steel screw to keep you from losing the cover.
- Tall Blind Markers - The polyvinyl fence stake is the full length of 38 inches and covered with the desired cordura fabric. At this length, the fabric does not tend to easily fall off so it is not screwed onto the stake.
Because a lot of you have your own polyvinyl stakes and to reduce your shipping cost we offer a cover only purchase option.
We also have pole toppers which come in a solid bright orange color as either a slip-on cover or as a slip-on bright orange triangular flag. These toppers increase the visibility of your blind markers when running long distance lining drills and blinds. They are very helpful when the background is uniform like a hedgerow.
