We no carry our holding blinds with PVC poles and Rebar Stakes in inventory. If you would like to order a holding blind with this pole type please contact us regarding availability and pricing.
Our PVC/Rebar blinds are one of NW Camo's most economical family of blinds (the other is our polyvinyl family of blinds).
Most of our PVC/Rebar blinds use durable cordura fabrics, but we do offer a few PVC/Rebar blinds with cotton fabrics. Polypropylene webbing is sewn across the top and the bottom of the backside of the blinds to provide extra tear resistance from over-exuberant dogs jumping up on top of the blind or trying to push under the blind.
Polypropylene webbing is also used on all the vertical pole placements and the PVC poles are attached to the webbing using a stainless steel washer and a stainless steel square head screw. The press-formed curved stainless steel washers are used so the screw heads will not pull out of the webbing. The fabric is attached to each PVC pole at the top of the blind. This prevents the poles from falling out when carrying and handling these blinds.
Each of these blinds includes the appropriate number of sticks of rebar to set-up the blind. The tip of the 1/2" diameter 3' long rebar stake is sharpened into a point. This point makes the rebar go into the ground easier. The other end of the rebar had been deburred so the PVC pole will slide over the rebar without snagging on burrs. Each stick of rebar had been painted black on the pointed end and orange or yellow on the top 2/3rds for better visibility. Setting up these blinds into hard or rocky ground requires the use of a hammer to pound the rebar stakes into the ground. Because we provide 1/2" diameter rebar stakes you should be able to pound the stake into the ground without having it bend.
All of our blinds have two large pockets that will each hold a box of shotgun shells. There is one pocket on both the upper left and the upper right corners on the backside of the blind. These pockets are handy for holding launcher remote controls and 2-way radios often used in training.
You can choose between our standard 2-panel and 3-panel blinds. The panels on our 2-panel blinds are 36" wide for a total blind width of 72"(6 feet wide). On our 3-panel blinds, the 2 outer panels are 30" wide and the center panel is 36" wide for a total blind width of 96"(8'wide)
If you want us to make blinds with more panels or different panel widths, then please contact us.
In the PVC/Rebar Blinds, we offer you a choice of either a 4' blind (48" fabric height) or an approximately 5' blind (59" fabric height).
Our blinds also have an attached webbing strap with a quick release buckle to wrap around the bind and keep the blind secure and not unroll during transport or storage.
You have many choices when it comes to camo patterns. If the camo pattern or blind you want is "Sold Out", then contact us and we will make one for you.
Product Care Instructions:
Cordura Fabrics are durable, but we recommend that you do not leave your blinds out. The same applies to cotton fabrics. Over time sunlight will destroy fabrics; therefore, we recommend that you bring your blinds in after use. If the blinds are wet, then do not store them rolled up or mildew may form.
If you need to wash the blind, we recommend rolling it out on a driveway and using a hose to wet the fabric. Then use a mild detergent and a broom or brush to gently scrub the fabric and then hose it off. Let it air dry before rolling it up for storage.
